WE ARE

Northern Vocational Services is a community-based organization. We specialize in changing the lives of people who have difficulty finding employment with or without employment limitations. At NVS, we know that everyone has significant potential, and we provide services that enhance personal abilities.

We do so by:

Offering client-centered approaches through individual employment counseling and coaching.

Identifying solutions to overcome employment barriers and utilizing a person's strengths to find suitable employment.

Improving skills with exercises to increase employment opportunities.

Advocating and networking throughout Greater Sudbury about the significant benefits of employing persons with disabilities
ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA
A person may access our services provided they are:
If you are any of the following:

18 years of age

A recipient of ODSP/ OW

A Canadian citizen
-
Permanent resident, legally entitled to work in Canada

Many employers consider it a challenge finding people who meet their needs. This is where Northern Vocational Services can help. We bring the competencies of our clients in line with the objectives of employers, to the benefit of all involved. In addition, there is no fee for employers to utilize our services.
